IPL 2023 Gujarat Titans Squad: The Gujarat Titans, one of the two new IPL teams, were victorious in their first title during their inaugural appearance. Prior to the 2022 IPL season, the BCCI added the Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants to the current roster of eight teams.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has received an impressive 1.7 billion dollars, or 12,690 crore, from the sale of two new Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. CVC Capitals, the owner of the Gujarat Titans, emerged victorious in the bidding war with a staggering offer of over 692 million dollars, or 5625 crore. This bid was a whopping 160% above the BCCI’s base price for the IPL team.
Before the beginning of the season, the Gujarat Titans franchise announced Hardik Pandya, an Indian all-rounder, as their team captain. Pandya, who previously played for the Mumbai Indians, successfully led the Gujarat Titans to victory in their inaugural season by defeating the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 final. This marked the first title for the Gujarat Titans.

In the 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction, Rashid Khan was purchased by the Gujarat Titans for a sum of INR 15₹ crore (approximately $2.04 million). Rashid Khan is a young and talented Afghan cricketer who is known for his exceptional spin bowling skills.
The Gujarat Titans, who are one of the teams participating in the IPL, made the decision to acquire Rashid Khan in order to strengthen their team’s bowling attack. With his inclusion in the team, the Gujarat Titans will be hoping to have a successful season in the IPL.
IPL 2023 GT Captain
The Gujarat Titans team, which was formed in 2022, is led by Captain Hardik Pandya. Pandya is a skilled batter with a score of 1160 in T20 International matches. He made his debut for India in January 2016 at the age of 22 and took 2 wickets against Australia in his first match.
