As before I mentioned that he represents the Indian U-19 side in the world cup of 2010. Harpreet Singh played his domestic cricket career for two teams. The first was Chhattisgarh Cricket Team and the second was the Central Zone team.
In IPL 2011 he was picked by the franchise Pune Warriors but he didn’t make a good impact. He dropped out from IPL for almost 4 years. After that, he was bought by the franchise RCB in 2017. Before picking him up for the RCB squad he was unsold in the auction.
But later when the Sarfraz Khan was injured then RCB decided to pick him up as an alternate of Sarfraz Khan. He also played in the Ranji Trophy of season 2017-2018. This season he was the top runs-getter from the Madhya Pradesh side. He made a total of 629 runs in just 7 matches.
In the very next year 2018-2019, he played Vijay Hazare Trophy from the same Madhya Pradesh side and was again the top runs-getter of his team after making 271 runs in just 5 matches. In the same year, he was moved to the Chhattisgarh team from the Madhya Pradesh team and played in the Ranji Trophy of season 2018-2019 from the Chhattisgarh team.
He made a total of 627 runs in just 8 matches. And he was the top runs-getter in the Ranji Trophy of season 2018-2019. His name was announced in August 2019 as a member of the Indian Red team that will participate in the Duleep Trophy in 2019 and 2020.
